Aluminum ash is the ash generated during the production of electrolytic or cast aluminum, which is a hazardous solid waste that is discharged without harmless treatment and can cause serious environmental pollution. However, aluminum ash contains various components such as aluminum elemental, alumina, and aluminum carbide, with alumina accounting for over 70%, which has high recycling value.

　　The National Hazardous Waste Catalogue was officially implemented on January 1, 2021, requiring relevant production and processing enterprises to manage and treat aluminum ash as hazardous waste.
