In 2022, the prices of bulk non-ferrous metal products showed a fluctuating trend, with the average spot prices of copper, aluminum, lead, and zinc being 67470 yuan/ton, 20006 yuan/ton, 15260 yuan/ton, and 25154 yuan/ton, respectively, with year-on-year increases of -1.5%, 5.6%, 0.1%, and 11.4%. The prices of nickel, cobalt, and battery grade lithium carbonate have significantly increased year-on-year, with an average spot price increase of 44.1%, 18.2%, and 301.2% in 2022, respectively.

In terms of imports, the import volume of copper concentrate, unwrought copper, and copper materials increased by 8% and 6.2% year-on-year, respectively. The import volume of bauxite reached 125 million tons, an increase of 16.8% year-on-year. In terms of exports, the quantity and amount of unwrought aluminum and aluminum material exports increased by 17.6% and 33.7% year-on-year, respectively.
